Nadia Gabarin is a Hematologist and Transfusion Medicine Specialist. She is one of the associate medical directors of the University Health Network Blood Transfusion Laboratory. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto. After completing her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Toronto, she completed her Hematology training at McMaster University, and a Transfusion Medicine fellowship with Canadian Blood Services. She has a Master of Science degree in Health Research Methodology. Her work includes a focus on blood product utilization, knowledge translation, patient blood management, and immunohematology. She is looking forward to working with the Using Blood Wisely team.
